Under the leadership of Ijeoma Oguagha, MD, FAAP, Bread of Life Pediatrics is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after pediatric resources in the region.

 

Ijeoma Oguagha, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedicine from the City College of New York-Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a combined B.S.-M.D. program out of high school. She went on to complete her medical degree in Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. She completed her residency program at the acclaimed Cohen Children’s Medical Center-Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Hospital.

Dr. Oguagha brings a wealth of experience to her work at Bread of Life pediatrics. Dr. Oguagha has a vast professional history, which includes roles in rural pediatrics, hospital clinic work and private pediatric practice. She has a passion for working with children and aims to partner with their parents and caregivers to help them thrive and live a life filled with love, joy and peace.

She finds her work deeply rewarding, especially when it comes to helping kids take an active role in their health and wellness journey and empowering them and their families to embrace preventative health and wellness. As a Christian, Dr. Oguagha prays that her patients come to experience the love of Jesus Christ that has so changed her life, and that they may enjoy the fruits of the Holy Spirit- Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self Control, Galatians 5:22-23.
